I love second chance love stories, especially when the hero is a hot bad boy. I loved Lukas Spikonos. He was everything I want in a book hero. Lukas had a sad childhood, but he had one thing going for him. His voice.

Years earlier, he fell in love with Samantha Rushford, but he had nothing to offer Sam. When he left town, Sam was crushed. Now a teacher at the local high school, she is “almost” engaged to another man when Lukas returns to Mirror Lake. The bad boy she once loved is now a rock star and sexier than ever. What I loved about Lukas is that although he’s rough around the edges, the man has a big heart. He’s the perfect balance of a bad/good boy.

What does Lukas want? He wants Sam, of course, and nothing will stop him from winning her back. This is a wonderful story and I enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend THIS LOVING FEELING.

This book was my favorite in the series. Wish there was a book 4. I'll miss the family. Will look for more books from this author.
Just excellent. I could hardly put it down. This is my kind of novel. Strong characters and an even stronger plot.
I loved the book. I love when people can work out conflicts and have a wonderful life together. They both had to be brave and trust each other. And they provided a home for the child of an addicted parent, which seems to be more common these days.
This book has regrets, mistakes, second chances, family interference and love! This has been such a wonderful series i hope it just keeps going!
I don't give away the story I just give my own opinion as I love reading love and romance stories . I've read all of this authors book since finding her on , she really has a way of making you so involved in the story you can't put it down , you just want to turn the page ) I loved it , great story , great characters, a little bit of Greek and Irish mixed with love and romance, lovely read )
I absolutely adored everything about this book! I l liked Lukas in the first few books and thought he'd been given a bad rap, but after reading this book....wow.... I am so in love with Lukas. He might have been a little rough around the edges, but boy..... the man has finally proven he has a heart of gold behind that rough exterior. Sam & Lukas are the perfect match as far as I'm concerned, and adding little Stevie into the mix, is like adding icing to the cake..

I love this author, and can't wait to read more of her work.
Really, I have. When I read book 2 of the Mirror Lake series, I hoped that the next book would be Lukas and Samantha’s story and I wasn’t disappointed. There were so many things I loved about this story.

Who wouldn’t love a “bad-boy turned good” and a “good girl who needs to step out of her comfort zone.” But the story was so much more than that.
It is about a man who doesn’t feel worthy of love, yet has a huge capacity for it just the same.
It is about Stevie, the young nephew who has been thrust into Lukas’ life. And the sense of family that develops between these two who don’t know what having a family means.
It is about the ability to embrace what you really need and want from life and love.
It is about family – whether the family you are born into or the family who takes you in.
And it is about second chances between two people who never stopped loving each other and who find the courage to accept what they really want in life regardless of what others think.

Yep, this one was worth waiting for. My only hope is that there are more books in the series and since Lukas has a bunch of long-lost brothers, I’m imagining the possibilities as I type this!
